Absolutely fantastic place and I must say I like this place even more than I like Aberdeen Barn the reason why is it’s very laid-back without pressure from staff. They didn’t ask me 10000 times in 30 minutes how do I like my meal trying to hurry up and get me out of there. The food tastes just as great at half the price. Yes they don’t have mirrors on the ceiling which I really don’t care about. Our waiter for the night was absolutely fantastic her employee number was 9344 forgot her name but she was extremely nice and had a great sense of humor. Now if you need a new heat pump furnace or air conditioner contact Tidewater home repair that’s me wishing you a blessed day 🙂

This restaurant is a nice place to stop in with a friend and have a casual lunch. I had the shrimp tacos and my friend had the flounder lunch plate.. It’s a nice spot to relax and enjoy and enjoy a good lunch. The staff is nice and very helpful. We will be back. When you have to wait for a seat mid-week, it’s a good sign.

We went there for dinner. It was our first experience there since the one we went to in Chesapeake closed. We were looking forward to crab legs, but they were not on the menu. My wife ordered the crab plate and I ordered steak and shrimp. My wife said her crab was very bland, and my steak was undercooked so i had to have them re-cook. No discount was offered. The prices are really up from before. We also had 2 alcoholic drinks that we felt were alcohol free. The waitress was great, but still not worth it. We won’t be back.

I ordered the fried oysters, mashed potatoes, and a salad. The food was delicious. The oysters were perfectly fried, and the portions were huge. I had enough food for my supper the next day. This will be my go to seafood restaurant.
