In a sea of Indian restaurants in the neighborhood this place has always stood out. I forget how many times over the last 10 years I’ve been here with so many different people. Each one of them has loved the food. This place has been open since 2004 and in my view they have the best grilled food and main courses – especially when it comes to Lamb and Chicken. Just amazing. Deserves a lot more business. As the owner told me – the chef hasn’t changed from Day 1 – a rarity in this business.

This is the best Indian food joint I’ve had in my stay here in New York/Jersey. The owner/manager Hazel is the BEST company to have. We had such a good time being hosted by her. I have visited so many restaurants in the 60 days I’ve been here but this stands out for both service and the feeling of homely comfort you get with the food. We practically inhaled everything that was brought to our table. The fish chilly, Gobi Manchurian, Hakka Noodles, Chicken Lollipop, methi mattar malai (MUST HAVE). The desserts – Kulfi and gajar halwa. Ufff!!! Can’t imagine what life would have been like if i hadn’t visited this place.

Man, what can I say I never write reviews because I respect restaurant owners but I’ve been coming to spice grill since I can remember. They always had the BEST and authentic desi food you could have. The last 4x I’ve ordered from here I can only think to myself ownership has changed. Rice was very hard, tasted like rice cooker, no flavor and the chicken masala has a burnt taste. I’m only posting this so ownership can’t see and improve. As you can see very low I will continue to go back to spice grill in hopes they go back to their old ways.

Food was really good. Owner (lady) was very mean to the employees and expected them to do 10 things at a time. Yelling at them in front of the customers is definitely not right. It’s either hire more employees or stop yelling. Our server was very calm and patient. He did take care of multiple things constantly and still got yelled at for no reason. Poor management

Post pathetic place to eat. The lady (manager)was so loud on phone. Manchurian was cold. Entire buffet was cold. And which restaurant serves Aloo mutter in buffet. That we can cook at home and eat. We go to restaurant to some different. Owner should come to restaurant and check how bad the food is serve.
