What a difference employees make!! I had never been to this establishment before so the menu was a little foreign to me. Last week I asked for help getting what I wanted and it just didn’t work. This past evening I went again, because I wanted fresh, unadulterated, food. This employee was more than happy to explain anything I didn’t understand or couldn’t find. My meal was delicious! Had a great bowl of chicken tortilla soup and a fish taco. This is one of their plate choices. The soup was really tasty, with good flavors and avocado. The soup also had rice, which I can’t remember having tortilla soup with rice before. But, it had good flavor and nice amount of chicken breast. Fish taco is always good. Nice place to have lunch and as others have noted it’s on the Navy base so if you don’t have an ID pick another Rubios.

I ordered 2 fish tacos with chips and salsa and a side of refried beans… the tacos were SOOOO GOOD !! Best tacos I’ve had in Cali since I’ve moved here .. and the pieces of fish in the taco was fresh and there was a lot!
