My coworkers and I work at a local High School and we support the local business in the area. We stumbled on Quickies looking for a good Burger. They have more than just burgers. The second day, I tried the Philly Cheese Steak with a strawberry shake. The bun was fresh and soft (seamed to perfection . The meat was seasoned just right. It had the right amount of cheese the fries were crisp but soft inside but lightly seasoned. My brother had the pork tenderloin. I would have took a picture but it gone. To top it off, they have geat service and I got to meet the Owner. She’s very nice Sweet and she values her customers and has good food. We will be back!!!!

Burgers tasted good but too thin for my liking, a double would be a must. Tenderloin was good. Shrimp was just ok. Fries are garbage. Onion rings are GREAT!! Service is MUCH better when the owner is there.

Today was our 1st time trying Quickie’s. I can’t say enough great things about this place! First off, the owner, Beth, is an amazing woman. She’s a born & raised Dotte & it shows. She is so friendly & inviting that you feel like family from the moment you walk in the door. Secondly, the food is wonderful & well worth their reasonable pricing. Lucky me, today was a tenderloin special which included the sandwich, a side (I chose tots) & a drink for only $10.95! The tenderloin was beyond great & I loved that it included all things that come on a burger which not many places do. It also came with horsey sauce (a horseradish sauce) that just put the sandwich over the top for me! Lastly, while I was there, I watched her offer a free book each to 2 children that were there with their Mom getting ice cream. This kind of humanity is rarely seen in businesses anymore & I commend her for doing something different that promotes such positivity in our community. Thank you Beth for being such a great person & for offering your beautiful soul to this community with your new business adventure. We will be back again & again. And to anyone who hasn’t tried this place yet, what are your waiting for? Go visit Quickie’s and leave a review. We need more local businesses like this!

My husband and I visited for the first time yesterday and we absolutely loved it! We ordered a double bacon cheeseburger combo and split it, and both got full from it. Nice large serving. We also got a chocolate shake that was really good. And excellent customer service! Patty was great! If anyone is wondering if this is as good as Eatons or Pauls, I’d say it surpasses them! Will be visiting again soon when we are in this area.

Took a wrong turn on the way to the RenFest and decided to get back on track via Kansas Ave. While sitting at the stop light we saw Quickie’s and my daughter made the comment that they probably had great food. On the way back from the RenFest we stopped in for lunch. She was right, the food was delicious. She got the bacon cheeseburger w/onion rings while I got the tenderloin with fries. She commented a few times on how good the burger was, as were the onion rings. As for the tenderloin, it’s a “real” tenderloin. It’s the kind that you could easily make two or more sandwiches out of and it’s as big as your face. The staff was exceptionally friendly and chatted with us while the two gentlemen in the back cook our food to perfection. We sat out at the picnic tables and enjoyed a delicious lunch. When we finished we went back inside to tell them that we loved the food. On the way out the door I told them, “We’ll be back!” Oh yeah, we will most definitely be back!

I believe the owner may have been a lady at the counter. Very pleasant and treated me like I was right at home. She has the really cool thing she does for children. She lets them pick out a book to take with their meal. Hats off to her for pushing reading. Not sure where she gets her books, but I bet she will take them off your hands for the children! Very clean establish. She has a customer for good here!!
