Can’t believe I never knew about this place until now. Got the lamb and chicken platter for two around $40. Perfect portion size. Everything amazing except the lamb tikka too hard. We did street parking close by. Looking forward to coming back here often.

This restaurant has a variety of dishes but can’t help but pick the butter chicken. The chicken is fresh and cut into small pieces which is then spread out into the creamy butter sauce. The freshly baked bread that comes with the dish provides an even better taste. The service here is excellent and the people are friendly. I rate this restaurant a 10/10

I went for dinner at Pukhtun Afghan tonight and had a great experience. Given the current pandemic situation and everything going on, the place surpassed our expectations. We ordered Chicken Cheese Adana Kebab, Chicken Shish Kebab, and Lamb chops for our main entrees and for appetizers we ordered Bang Bang Shrimp and Mantui. The food definitely delivers to every taste bud and has the perfect balance. We also met the owner who took great care of us, and also gave us some great suggestions on all their specialty items.

BEST BBQ food I had in a while! Excellent quality and quantity. I have been to all similar restaurants for years in central jersey but this one gets the top spot going forward for afghan, gyros, platters and sandwiches. Awesome outdoor seating area in the backyard. Definitely try it, highly recommended.

Really great food and friendly service. Lamb gyro and Chicken Adana were excellent. Loved the rice. Don’t miss out on the desserts either. We tried the chocolate baklava and the Biscoff cheesecake and they were divine!

This feels like a predominantly takeaway place, and their food is marvelous. We had a courteous welcome from the staff and a lovely meal with generous portions and reasonably priced. We spent around $30 per person for appetisers, a main,water, tax,and tip. Food didn’t feel that spicy, so don’t hesitate to go for the ones marked as such.

This is an exceptionally well restaurant where the chefs are professional and educated on preserving the authentic cuisine. I enjoyed the mantu and lamb rice plov. Everything nicely packaged and got all the sides with it. I’m impressed, and you would be too. Stop by or order online. You won’t be disappointed

Amazing food. Ambience is nice and different, love the low seating arrangement (common in Asian, middle eastern, south Asian cultures) but they can do a better job with lighting and divisions to add more privacy and separation between sections for diners. The spinach and baigan Tarkari were especially awesome and highly recommended.
