Potato Shack was founded in 1998 with the idea that College Station needed hot, fresh baked potatoes that could be delivered right to your front door. We couldn’t deliver just any plain ol’ potato, we needed to offer a ton of choices and they needed to be huge, really huge! As time went by, we needed a bigger and better location with more dine-in space and we needed to add to our menu. Potato Shack Plus was born!!! We only use Idaho potatoes to make the biggest, best selection of spuds you will find anywhere! That’s why Potato Shack Plus really is, The original meal in a peel!
Stuffed potatoes are joined by global dishes at this chain outpost with picnic tables & tin walls.
Absolutely delicious food with a wide variety of choices. My dad, kids, and I sat down for a great meal and left full as ever. Kind hardworking staff. We’ll definitely be back.

I called in my order at 6:11 8/19 was told it would be ready in 5-10 minutes showed up at 6:30 and my ordered wasn’t ready. People ordered on the spot while I was waiting and got their orders before I did. Finally got my order at 7 almost an hour later after I called. Why call an order in?

We got the Queso con Carne, BBQ Chopped Beef, and Chicken Fried Steak. Over all they were all good. I just feel they need to be seasoned more, but that’s just me. The Queso one had Loads of Queso!!!! Which I loooooove that they do and not just a tiny bit. Though, again, I felt the Queso could’ve been better.

What can’t you say about potato shack. Great menu items. Not one I would recommend over the other because I love them. Pretty good beer selection and they sell Boots soda which a huge plus. 5 million stars.

I ordered a potato and a side of fries. For what I paid coming from a potato place verses what I got is a rip off. My money is wasted. I paid 8 bucks for the side of fries alone.
