We stopped here on our way home from our family’s vacation house and it was the brisket was tender! (Even the lean plate) sausage was good, rice was fluffy and the beans were flavorful. Staff was nice and helpful. If you’re from out of town and looking for delicious Bar-B-Q, you should definitely check this place out. 10/10

We stopped here on our trip to Port Lavaca and were not disappointed or should I say, pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Pit Devil BBQ to anyone looking for some good barbecue in Port Lavaca.

It was good, I got the Texas plate. The portions are great but the flavor was lacking. The Ribs were really good and by far the best thing on the plate. However the sides lacked flavor, and the brisket was dry. The beans were still hard, the rice was flavorless, and the Mac and cheese was very bland. Overall I felt underwhelmed and the price was huge for the quality.

Ok so found this place on maps and decided to check it out. Stuffed wrapped jalapeños were pretty good, ordered the Texas plate and the sausage and brisket were good but the ribs were not enjoyable lot of fat in it and the meat was tough so basically didn’t eat that at all. My coworker got the same thing and agreed he also got deviled eggs and didn’t enjoy it

I went a few weeks back on a family trip to port Lavaca and were trying to decide on lunch before heading back home to San Antonio and while searching google we found pit devil bbq and decided to stop there. So glad we did! The food was so delicious and the portions were very generous! We came in with a large group and the staff took care of us so well and were patient with us lol the staff was so friendly and came to chat with us. They then took my nephews, niece, and son on a little “field trip” to go see where all the food is made out back and say hi to the pit master. I followed as well and it was so exciting for the kids (and me and well lol) definitely something they will remember! 10/10 experience

As a fulltime RV’er I’ve spent part of several winters in Port L’s area and I try to come to this great little place as often as I can . Good food and lots of it , friendly folks working there. It can get a bit crowded at lunch time .

Food is fresh and very, very tasty. Staff is the best. Food has lots of flavor, hot, fresh, and tasty. I dine in 5 to 6 times a month. Best food around. Highly recommend. The Staff is awesome!!!

I’ve been there twice since I arrived to the area. The brisket is really good and tender (no need of a knife). The service is good and fast. I recommend this place for sure.
