Im frustrated because you WANT to like this place. The food isn’t horrible. Yeah it’s pricey for the quality but it’s decent. The best thing about this place for me is the delivery drivers. They are always nice and on time and sometimes early. But I order from here often when I don’t want to cook or after a long day of work and don’t have the energy to make a meal. Here’s the thing, they’ve never forgotten any food I’ve ordered and never really mess up. But I noticed from time to time, their pizza is smaller delivered than advertised. If I order a large, why did I receive a medium? You didn’t think we’d measure after we opened the box and saw how small the pizza looked??? A large is 16 inches, I measure the pizza at 13 inches. That is smaller than a medium on top of that. I reached out but they claim there’s nothing they can do because they “sent out the correct size pizza”. You really try giving this place chance after chance especially after all of these bad reviews. It’s too bad. They used to be really great. You’d think they would look at the reviews and try to turn things around. I won’t be ordering from here again. Ugh

Came to this place for a quick takeout. Ordered the chicken parmigiana small 10” pizza and 10 piece sweet chili wings. The food tastes great. Pizza is fresh and sauce is made with real tomatoes. The wings were actually sweet and SPICY. Best wings I’ve had outside of NYC. Blue cheese dipping has real blue cheese chunks in it. Definitely recommend for takeout or delivery.

The customer service is trash! They mess up your order and the manager has an “i don’t care” attitude when you call to complain. They talk to you like you’re lying and make YOU come up with a solution. Not apologetic at all just defensive and weird. I will not be ordering from them again. Not worth it! I ordered loaded fries and got burnt fries, no ranch. They gave me marinara sauce and ruined my meal.

I took a chance with Pie Guys one night when I was simply tired of bad pizza in my local town. and boy, did it pay off. For one thing, the best prices of Any Italian place I know of within 30 miles. They’re rude and unprofessional. It’s like you’re bothering them when you order food. I called an order in for pick up. I thought I was finished with the call. I go to pick up the food and they did Not prepare the food at all. Told me that because I hung up they didn’t make the food. I had friends and family at my house and couldn’t feed them because of the unprofessional people at the restaurant. I ordered from there all the time. They’ll never waist money there ever again!!!!!

I’ve had some “decent” pizza from here, but my last 2 experiences haven’t been good. I asked them to remove the skin from my eggplant grinder, and they didn’t. And getting charged over $20 for a sub and onion rings is outrageous. Went in to their “restaurant ” and ordered manacotti. It took them 10 minutes to tell me they were out. And when I placed a simple order for delivery, it took over an hour to get it ( they are less than 1/4 mile away. There are many great pizza/ Italian restaurants to order from in Waterbury. Try them first
