Claim to be the “best bloody ANYWHERE “…. Im a bloody connoisseur, and I only finished the bloody because (without a chaser) it was a $9 plastic cup rail vodka with zing Zang. Chaser an additional $3. Salad was okay at best, prepackaged dressing and plastic silverware… paperplates to eat on.. mostly a head of lettuce with a tiny handful of iga toppings. Not the best service, ignored except for ordering and paying the bill…and wasn’t my idea of pleasant when did get service. Oh…cash only, no one tells you that until the bill comes… hands bill over and says “cash only but we have an atm” ….. ok, i dont have my debit card. Definitely will not come back.

This is the type of rundown bar you’d find on a show like Kitchen Nightmares or Restaurant Impossible. If it weren’t in a tourist town, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t survive. Poor service (slow, half-ignored us), poor atmosphere (it’s just a bar, even though it advertises “family friendly”), and poor food quality (most of it I’m pretty sure was just bagged frozen food run through the fryer; my steak sandwich had cold meat that I didn’t think was worth the hassle and extra wait time to send back).

Used to really like this place. Sadly, it was a totally different experience this time around. Bloody Marys were excellent in the past, but this time around they were “meh” at best. The grilled chicken was dry to the point that we didn’t finish our meal. We won’t go back.

Food was good. Service was good, not great, but good. It is cash only and we weren’t told that at the beginning. So then we had to use the ATM that charged a $3.00 fee to use. That was pretty frustrating and had we known we most likely would have gone elsewhere.

We came in a couple days ago and service was great and so was the food. Come in today by myself and never offered a menu or drink after 30+ mins I asked for a menu and the man continued to just focus on the bar. Table next to us said they waited 2 hours and were just getting their food. Not sure what happen today but won’t be coming back.

I have never been a Galena before. I really regretted eating at this place. A lot of the restaurants are closed down when we were there or just for dinner so we didn’t have a lot of choices. If I was in a small town that was not at a tourist destination this would have been okay and I’ve eaten it places like this before. But it’s a rundown small place with mediocre food. It’s cash only but the only way you would know that is if you saw the sign that said ATM inside. Otherwise there were no signs posted or disclosure about how payments would work here. We got barbecue wings but they were just fried chicken nuggets that had dipping sauce next to them.

It’s a mixed bag. We loved the food. I really liked the burger. Beef patty amazing. Fries delish. Cole slaw good. Service not too friendly. Didn’t refill water. It’s cash only which we knew so wasn’t a problem. They DO post a sign outside. All in all I would definitely go back for a burger. Also, spaghetti was on special and my friend liked it a lot.

Don’t over look this one! Food was delicious. Prices are good. Family friendly. Burger was very good. Great flavor. Beef was also good and fresh. Good sizes. Very good bloody Marys! I will say if you have little ones there is some risky pictures in the bathroom. The mom in me was not expecting that. Service was polite, fast, and welcoming. We will definitely be back the next time we visit. Thank you for lunch!
