I am so happy we stopped by this place! My husband doesn’t eat pork, so it’s tough finding a breakfast spot where he feels comfortable eating most things on the menu. It was not a problem here! We had breakfast with French toast, eggs, fried potatoes, and corned beef. It was all so delicious. The only bad thing is the restaurant is three hours away from us. The lady at the counter who took our order was also pleasant. I look forward to our next visit here!

The shakshuka was absolutely delightful and the perfect meal to start the day. My wife got the borscht which is too earthy for my palate but for her it always hits the spot. We also shared a Reuben which was wonderful.

I got Theresa’s French Toast Sandwich. It was very good and a friend said their tofu was great. The lady was super nice and the place smelled amazing. I plan to bring my family back to try more.

I enjoy their food but they have had some mess ups. There was one time the food was too salty to eat. They made me a pasta salad that was delicious but changed up the recipe afterwards- it wasn’t as good. I grew up on good quality bread and I’ll be honest, theirs did not match but it was decent.

We ordered a German chocolate cake for my husband from here and it was absolutely delicious. He has allergies so we needed a gluten and dairy free cake that he could eat at our wedding and they were able to make it and deliver it to our event! He said it was the best cake he ever had and we will be ordering more in the future. Absolutely thrilled to have found this place and the quality and taste is so good!

Oy Vey was a delightful surprise and change from our normal. The restaurant itself feels homey, which is actually something I prefer over the more pristine hard dining areas. You feel like your sitting in your grandparents dining room eating and it brings a real home type of feel. The plants near the front door are beautiful and well taken care of, they have fresh baked breads and desserts in a case, and then when ordering, they have a qr code that makes it so much simpler. I ordered a Manhattan for lunch. As well as a cinnamon roll and a slice of cake. All portions were a generous size, and it was affordable to have a decent lunch. The potatoes with the Manhattan tasted like they had been roasted in butter, and the bread was definitely made from scratch. The cinnamon roll had been a bit dry for my taste but I enjoyed the flavoring of the cake slice I had.

Absolutely love this place and the staff! My fiancee has PKU and Oy Vey staff are more than willing to whip something up that he can eat. Food, both bakery and deli, are truly worth the price. Staff are friendly and helpful, I reccomend this very highly whether you eat kosher (my fiancee and I do) or not.

Hands down best restaurant in Terre Haute for vegetarians and vegans. Numerous options to choose from, some very delicious, and others I can only attest to the mouth-watering aroma since I don’t eat meat.

Great little place in Terre Haute! Soups, sandwiches and salads were all fantastic, very filing and tasty. Looking forward to going again on our next trip there! (As a tip, order the Mediterranean Salad…not on the printed menu mind you – on the online – but incredible flavor!)

Came here for dinner with our dairy free toddler. First plus, they are kosher so no dairy in the facility at all so we weren’t afraid of cross contamination. Second- we ordered a small chicken noodle for him since they didn’t have a dedicated kids menu. but instead the gave us a toddlers heaven of noodles, fruit and veggies. My kid INHALED every bit of it and the chicken noodles were amazing. Staff was super friendly as well!
