Yo this place was way better than I expected. I have high standard for this kind of cuisine and they knocked it out the park. The chicken was so juicy and succulent. The rice was divine and the sauces and pickled dishes they added were amazing. A great place for a quick bite to eat or to chill with friends. I can’t wait to try the fish as well as their beef and lamb kebab. I felt very full after finishing this def counts as a good healthy meal with lots of green options

Outdoor dining only, but love their vibe! Food is amazing! I have no idea that cauliflower and brussel sprouts can taste that good!! Limited menu, but they perfected what they serve! Parking is a little tricky. There is a free parking garage across the street from Tartine though

Mizlala is such a treat to have for authentic Mediterranean food. We had the shawarma plate, the kefta plate, baklava, and the Santa Monica IPA. Everything was so delicious. I had one bite and went back in line immediately afterwards to get my friend some take out because it was that good I wanted to make sure my friend tried it for herself. The pita bread they give you is so soft, and the pickles that are complimentary were yummy. I tried the carrot ones and I love them. I will come back to this restaurant soon.

This little gem hidden within the West Adams is a must-try place if you are around the area. This is a semi-fastfood location: you place an order at the counter and they will bring out your food to your table. The seating area has a great vibe and a wonderful place to hangout with your friend after meal.

So when we got there, they told us the food would be 20-25min, then while we waited the building lost power and they were unable to give us what we had ordered, unable to give us refunds since there was no power. The staff was friendly, and the place seemed clean. A little on the pricey side. Not a ton of options but just enough, music was wayyyyy too loud but otherwise good atmosphere.

I really want to give this place 5 stars. The food, when done correctly, is absolutely incredible. However, inconsistent cooking and regularly forgotten items make me second guess whether or not it’s worth making the drive. The last 3 visits have resulted in forgotten soup, forgotten pita, and very late mushrooms that arrived charred so badly they were inedible. Give it a shot, hope they’re “on” the day you go!

A friend and I chose this place after we were craving some Mediterranean food. We were able to find parking around the block and it wasn’t too busy when we arrived. The ambience, seating area, and overall atmosphere of the restaurant was laid back. The music they were playing was spot on.

I was brought to this place by my son for lunch. Ordered the lamb plate. Excellent flavor, great serving size, reasonably priced. Parking is a pain.

One of the best shawarma sandwiches I’ve had in LA. Very authentic. Service could have been better though. We stood in front of the register for 5 minutes waiting to order with nobody else in line. The staff seemed out of it and uninterested in working.

This place is TASTY. We got chicken shewarma plates, the crispy broccoli, and a tahini shake. Not a crumb left over (not that they skimp on the portion sizes!) The produce/herbs on the plates were super bright and fresh, and the flavors of the dish were perfectly balanced. The meat had just the right smoky char to it. Also I typically am repulsed by broccoli but this one did something for me.
