Miguel’s Jr.

  4.2 – 726 reviews  $ • Mexican restaurant

Our passion for fresh food comes from our founder, Mary Vasquez. Throughout her childhood in Central Mexico, she cooked with her mother and grandmother, helping to prepare family meals. When she moved to the States, she married Mike, had children of her own, continuing to make her favorite recipes from her childhood. In 1973, Mike and Mary took over an existing restaurant in Corona, CA and renamed it “Miguel’s” in honor of Mike’s grandfather. Today this family tradition continues. It is our promise to deliver the freshest, best tasting California Mexican food each and every day at all of our Miguel’s Jr. locations.

Mexican counter-serve chain dishing up burritos, tacos & other classics in a modern space.

Great customer service. They always seem understaffed but the staff that works the front are always accurate, kind, and hard working. Very impressed with this establishment. For being in the mall the food is delicious, price is decent and service is good. Try it out.

Loved loved loved, service was great and don’t get me started on those beef nachos. Definitely a must try for those considering. Everyone was very kind to me and helpful when deciding what to order especially this younger girl, she was always prepared for any questions I had. Definitely worth to keep as an employee !!

Miguel’s is a favorite go to spot. My daughter and I love to go visit our favorite cashier Valentina at the Tyler location. She is always friendly, smiling and gets our order correct. The food is delish. I especially like that the floor isn’t sticky anymore it is convenient, fresh and well priced. Go visit Valentina for friendly polite service.

My family and I have been eating Miguel’s Jr for 20+years. I even worked at the Tyler and Compton ave locations. The quality has really fallen. The hot sauce is watery and lacking flavor, enchiladas are no longer served cooked in the tin container, taquitos are nearly meatless and the guacamole lacking flavor. The tables are always dirty, floors sticky, fountains drinks broken. There’s a line with 1 cashier and 2 servers constantly. It’s hard to see this fall considering how much love their food has giving us.

Very good Mexican restaurant within the Galleria At Tyler mall. They have a fairly small menu but the quality is very good. Got the two taco combo plate with rice and beans. It was very good. Their burritos are suppose to be their specialty.

The food was good quality but my family ended up getting food poison multiple times and vomited after.

Ordered food for here and they put it all Togo, gave attitude when we asked for the green Avocado sauce that we ordered and they forgot to charge for, Togo food had no napkins or silverware. Very basic things. Asked for extra cheese on my side of beans, never hot it. Brought receipt to cashier right away asking why there’s not extra cheese on the beans. She assured us don’t worry. There was just a pinch on it for decoration. My boyfriend brought me here because he said it’s great…I disagree. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all!

The floor by the fountain drinks was super sticky. The machine was partially broken. Staff didn’t really seem to care that customers were severally sticking to the floor, I nearly tripped because my foot didn’t move as I was trying to walk away from it. But the food was great as it has always been at all locations (I’m from Corona).

Honestly, I’m bias, because Miguels has been in my life since childhood, with the Grand Terrace one, so the food will always have that nostalgic taste. I just wish that there soda machine was working at this one time, thought

They appeared short staffed. Tablets needed to be wiped. The men’s room was out of paper towels. The woman who took my order was later preparing food.
