Relocated from Miami for a short stay and decided to take a ride out of DC to try this spot. I am glad I made the trip. The service by Barri, the chef, the bartender were excellent. Trust me when I say you must come a dis restaurant fi the food, music and overall vybes.

On any other day, I will usually give this place a 5 but today, they definitely deserve a 1. I ordered chicken tenders for my children and instead got burnt chicken nuggets. I called the restaurant and was told since I can’t come up there, then there was nothing they can do about it. I had the food delivered in the first place because with the snow, I could not move.

Flava! Flava! Flava! That’s all i can say!! If you like the heat or if you like it sweet… scrumdidilyumtious!!!!! This is 2 orders 2 days in a row! First was dark meat grilled chicken that packed a subtle to fiery kick, and they doesn’t skimp out on that delicious grill flavor!! But i have to say that those veggies were incredible!!!! So today i ordered 3 sides of the veggies, plus just ale cart of delicious veggie sides… drool. (Rice, plantain, mashed potatoes, veggies) those mashed potatoes though… drool!!! topped them with sweet chili chicken wings… drool. After eating all that i was highly energized and slightly hyper. The rest of the day just flew by! They forgot my ginger beer today, but it wasn’t a big deal when they delivered the flavor that they delivered! I will most definitely be ordering here many more times before i move far away!

Ordered online to avoid the customer service that Yelp and Google reviews were talking about. A coworker from Jamaica referred me here and even added himself that tho the food is good the service is bitter. We did a group order and another co-worker picked it up and confirmed that the waitress is indeed as exactly what the reviews say she is. But the food was delicious and hearty. Will be returning to try other things on the menu.

My husband and I were visiting the area and wanted some Jamaican Food so we googled searched and this place had good reviews so we decided to try. The place was big with a full bar and nice seating area. The decor was nice- all Jamaican theme and colors. The waitress was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the food choices and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. We had the oxtails in gravy- curry chicken, plantains, cabbage with vegetables, homemade mac and cheese, beef patty, Sangria and a house special. A ton of food in a big portion. We had to do a to go box. The prices are great. All that food plus tip was 50.00 dollars .Definitely will go back .

My husband and I passing through and decided we wanted oxtails. Food was delicious and cold. Not the type to complain about food at restaurants because I don’t know what would happen behind closed door if I asked for hot food so I ate it anyway but the oxtails and cabbage was definitely cold.

The food here is delicious. I tried the curry goat and coconut snapper and highly recommend both dishes. It’s also worth noting that the staff are great and the restaurant is clean. I look forward to going back!

I got the curry chicken with steamed veggies , plantains and coconut rice. So good! I wish I had taken a pic of it for y’all but I just started digging right in. Will definitely come back. I’ll flick it up next time.
