Our server was Dalton who was amazing. We both took his food recommendations, and they were fantastic. We had mixed greens salad which had a amazing balanced dressing. The main course was Chilean Red Cabbage, New Year 45D with side of Peppercorn sauce and a side of mashed potatoes. All the food items were amazing and perfectly prepared. We had the Cheesecake with a Espresso that just topped off the night. In the last picture you will see that there was some constructions going on and those beeping are why the atmosphere is rating 4 out of 5.

What can I say first, the food is outstanding. We had a variety of seafood and steak. Oh phenomenal meat cooked to perfection seafood beautifully displayed great taste, super value for the money. Now let’s go home to cocktail drinks and wine. Super cocktail drinks a selection of wine that’s unbelievable if you were looking for wine that your place service bartender staff phenomenal I just can’t say enough about this place if you were in San Diego I would definitely put it on my list to visit you didn’t have to get reservations but hey, that’s OK. I had an unforgettable birthday celebration at Lou and Mickey’s. The seabass was truly amazing, cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The beet salad was a delightful complement, adding a refreshing touch to the meal. What truly surprised and delighted me were the rose petals and creme brulee – an unexpected treat that made the occasion even more special. Lou and Mickey’s attention to detail and culinary creativity made my birthday truly memorable.

Nice little steakhouse! Had some interesting sounding cuts as well as different aging options. We opted to share a 45 day dry aged sirloin! It was so flavorful and juicy! Highly recommend, if you are in a hurry you may try something else though.

I wanted a delicious steak, and I got a delicious steak. The baked potato was quite delicious as well but very large. I got the 30 day aged 22 ounce steak medium. Only criticism would be the fact there is no happy hour or drink specials at this establishment.

My friend and I happened to come across Lou and Mickey’s when walking down the street in the Gaslamp Quarter. It looked nice so we thought we would try it. My friend ordered the Cob Salad with some pieces of Filet Mignon, she said it was the best salad she’s ever had. It’s a large salad and really good.
