We had a date night here on a Saturday night on the early side. The museum closes at 6 so we got there at 5 and had a nice stroll around the museum before checking in for our reservation. We were seated promptly in the beautiful dining room. They brought out our cocktails quickly and I was even provided a little stool for my handbag. Everything we ate was top notch but the vegetables in all of the dishes are the stars. Of the two desserts that we ordered, we were expecting to prefer the butterfly but the dark chocolate crémeux was really outstanding. It was almost like a dark chocolate mousse cappuccino. Loved. The only downside to this restaurant for me is the restroom. I am sure there is some kind of permitting reason why the restaurant doesn’t have it’s own restroom, but having to go out into the museum to use the restroom is a real vibe killer. I know this seems like not a big deal and I guess it’s not but I really really don’t like it. Would love to come back to try the seasonal expression.

From start to finish, our dining experience was similar to that at a Michelin Star restaurant. Harrison served us and made our time flawless at Le Jardinier. The cocktails, wine selection, execution of food, and service is impeccable here, every time we visit. If you’re looking for French food with a modern twist, do not look any further. Make a reservation at Le Jardinier now! DO NOT miss desert. The DARK CHOCOLATE CRÉMEUX is one of my favorite deserts in the Houston city.

The best fine dining experience I’ve had. Every single order we had was simply amazing. Staff is well educated on the menu and provided detailed descriptions of the menu and food we ordered. You’ll not leaved with only your stomach full but will be walking away from a great experience once you leave.

We enjoyed our seasonal expression dinner here. The dishes started strong and then went down a bit as the meal progressed until dessert. The dessert was great tho. Wish the main wagyu beef dish was Japanese wagyu and/or included a fruit element to help balance out the dish. It would’ve helped end the savory section on a high note for me. Overall good spot and recommend visiting. Great area to – MFAH

The food was delicious. That is the food that I could have. I made the reservation specifically denoting my allergies and looked over the menu and found it. They had plenty of options that did not have avocados. So when I arrived I found out that every option that didn’t have avocados was basically gone except for one on each section, one appetizer and one entree. So I was forced to have an extremely bland set of shrimp as an appetizer. It was literally two shrimp and some yogurt on a plate with zero seasoning and flavor. The only entree I could have was the risotto which was quite delicious. Not very feeling a very small portion. There were many other options on the menu that were available in appetizers and an entrees, but I could not have any of them because everything had avocado mixed into it, not just added completely mixed in. This kind of baffles me as when you make a reservation here they tend to ask for your allergies and discuss options with you and they did on the phone. So why in the world my early morning brunch reservation did not have any other option other than one? For a restaurant of this quality. This is unacceptable. They know a reservation is coming in that has allergies and they only leave them one singular option to eat. Why even ask for the allergies? Honestly I would not hold any normal restaurant to the standard but with this restaurant they are fine dining and they put them themselves out there to ask about these things without doing anything about it. I can say the dessert was good and I did have many options there. The dessert was very delicious. If it had not been for the dessert, my experience would have only yielded one star for the food. In short for what you pay, this was an abysmal experience for the food. Not to even mention which is commonplace in this caliber of restaurant. The quantity for the price which is once again desperately lacking. The service was impeccable. Everything I asked for they fulfilled except for the fact that their kitchen refused to make anything more or do anything about the options on the menu which that is not the server’s fault. So the server did amazing. So did the rest of the wait staff. It is exactly what you expect from this caliber of restaurant. As for the atmosphere I feel is though it would have been very nice and impressive somewhere in the late ’90s early 2000s. It is very dated and bland nothing about the environment actually stands out. You can assemble the same environment from furniture that you can buy from IKEA and the decor can be found at HomeGoods. Not what you would expect from this caliber of restaurant, especially for the price you pay.

Brunch was superb. Calming airy interior design made me feel instantly transported to Europe. The staff were professional and knowledgeable. It is tuned inside the Museum of Fine Arts. The meals were nicely plated and artistic. Taste was good too. There’s oarking available for visitors of the restaurant. Overall good experience.

We came for desserts after a long day walking at the museum and just want to say that their service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly and attentive. I was not expecting that even though we just came for desserts that they gave us complementary juice shots to help prepare our palate and they gave us bread with good olive oil as a complementary appetizer before we received our desserts. After the dessert, they also gave a very decadent lemon pound cake as a farewell gift and hope that we will come back again.
