The food was disgusting like eating spoons fulls of salt. Anything with the red sauce was awful. I was nauseous before even leaving the place. The beans were salty, the rice salty, the red sauce was salty and weird tasting. We told the waitress and she said oh the red sauce is an acquired taste. We’ve had plenty of Mexican food and this was not it. I wouldn’t recommend if you want real flavor.

We happened to to stop here in our travels. It was quite a treat! My husband had a sizzling hot beef Fajita that was well spiced. My Indian taco was on fry bread with nicely spiced ground beef and roasted green chile. The cheese did not drown the taco, thank you. I wish this La Cocina was near our home!
