I just left this place and the fish was NOT FRESH! It was very HARD!!! I ordered an extra side of fries and they did not give them to me. This place is horrible!!! It’s plenty other places you can go than to go here!!! My order was under Anthony but my wife said her name was Ebony. I don’t know what is going on with this place. All around BAD!

King’s Fish is a great fast food option. Located in the same parking lot, as my personal fave Liquor Store. It is especially cool when I remember to call in to place my order, requesting a hard fry on my Catfish Filets. When I arrive, my first stop is at Verchers to purchase my fave beer, and then, I walk over to purchase my Fresh, Hot Fish to take home for a memorable meal.

The reviews on here can not possibly be this location. Either that or we received what we got because the location was closing soon. The fish was not fresh and tasted processed and mushy – the same way frozen fish sticks from the grocery store taste. The batter was an extremely thick flour batter (not cornmeal) and had the appearance and taste of batter that is commonly used to fry chicken. The flavor was overpowering and had an awful after taste. With all of the available fish markets in this city, I’m shocked and angry at how disgusting it was. My Mother picked this place because it was much cheaper than the other King Fish on Crenshaw, but we are definitely paying for that decision now. Yuck.

Ordered 4pc catfish and 10pc shrimp… was fried to perfection especially the shrimp…. the fish could have used a tad bit more seasoning. But overall it was good. The man there says they accept EBT food…just in case you have EBT
