Ambience was a bit strange, but food and service were great. I got the birria tacos and a michelada and they were both

I met one of the cooks, who hails from the Mexican province of Nyarit, along the shore. Her specialty is seafood, and the quality of that part of the menu truly reflects it. So far I have tried the Past Brava (spicy) and the fish and shrimp tacos. Both were excellent. I recommend exploring their seafood menu. The TV is often on, which I find unpleasant, however, they have been willing to either turn off the volume, or tune it to traditional Mexican music.

Changed ownership October 2020. Now called King Kora Restaurante. Serves both American and Mexican. Will have to return for ribeye steak. Had New York and Pork chops. Friendly staff. Late dinner

Quiet little diner. Very small town feel, but it’s right off the highway. It was absolutely empty when I went, which is not really a good sign. But the food was promptly placed before us and it wasn’t that bad. Wasn’t anything special, but I was able to finish it.

Lesson learned. Listen to your instincts. Reviews tend to be very true specially when they aren’t that good of a reviews. There is a reason why. I would never go back here. When traveling to Los Angeles and you want to grab a quick breakfast maybe it is better to go to familiar places like Denny’s..

Good food in fairly large quantities, good service, good prices, not crowded. Excellent menu selection with lots of items.

Food was 5/5 but the service is a little slow and the restrooms were messy – not dirty but needed to get a quick pickup with overflowed paper towels.

Great quality food ! They were super friendly and very attentive. I think the reason for the low ratings is because this restaurant specializes in mariscos food (seafood) and not “American” food. I dont go into a pizza place wanting to get a burger and expecting it to be the best I’ve ever had but that’s just my opinion. Give this place a try !

Was in here a couple weeks ago. I won’t be going back. I ordered steak tacos, I thought they should’ve came with rice and beans, but nope. Was never offered a drink refill, was never offered chips and salsa. The pieces of steak had to be cut into smaller pieces and the “hot” sauce was weak.
