We usually go to Wendy’s to get burgers or chicken sandwiches, but I want some A&W root beer, so I figured “why not try out the A&W/KFC”. Well that turned into a mistake. I got the Combo 1 from A&W (single burger with mashed potatoes) and my girlfriend got chicken strips with fries and corn. It was to-go so we didn’t see the condition of the food until we got home. Everything in her meal was soggy, lukewarm, and soft. Even the fries were blech. It was like they threw all of her food in the box and then put in a microwave for a few minutes. The inside of the box was covered in condensation. The burger and mashed potatoes were equally unappetizing.
