Ordered two handsome owls. I wanted them vegan Style. Once I receive my sandwiches I asked if they were vegan and the guy argued me and said I gave him an attitude. Unfortunate Lee instead of taking responsibility he turned it around trying to make it seem as if I was the problem. Completely untrue. I ended up getting a refund. Only because the woman behind the counter made it a point to take over and help she looked extremely shocked and very apologetic all the other guy just walked in the back and started cursing. If management is listening. The guy with the dreadlocks wearing a hat. Black guy. He was very unprofessional. He is definitely going to cause a lawsuit one of these days.

I initially wanted to give the place 4 stars because yes, it’s true, the wait is definitely long even with not as many guest’s, (one in process and one ahead of us) but I did take not that about 4 car shops guys had ordered from what I assume online or over the phone. The wait was DEFINITELY worth it. DO NOT skip the fries, these sandwiches and their fries are a couple, unless you’re not into fries then go for chips, will be returning and trying chips. Perfect place for vegetarians and vegans, not an overwhelming menu so that’s amazing. The customer service was just as great as the subs and let me tell you.. these are the best subs in town (sorry Jimmy John’s)Spent around $28 on 2 subs and fries including a $2 tip

Came to this location for the first time as I was craving for the SF on Dutch that i usually get in Cupertino. This location had the worst service and the sandwich I ordered was not the usual order. It seems the server didn’t even want to serve us, he was stalling pretending he didn’t work there and then when he did serve us he was unpleasant.

IKE’S Sandwiches was really cool. The fun color scheme was super inviting as we glanced over the impressive menu. The sandwich names and ingredients really make this place unique, it is a tasteful mix of quality ingredients sure to impress mature tastebuds and down-to-earth signage and employees who made me feel really comfortable and confident about what I was ordering. To no surprise, the place was relatively busy for lunch, but we didn’t mind waiting a few minutes for our food. The Dutch crunch bread was outstanding, as were the toppings. I normally don’t eat any sauce on my sandwiches and was a little freaked out when I saw some upon inspection. I decided to be brave and I was not disappointed. It too, was outstanding. Although it was our first time at Ike’s, there was something uniquely nostalgic about the joint that almost brought me back. It could have been the smell of the freshly baked bread.. either way, this place is definitely worth a try next time you are in Fresno and looking for a spot to grab a quick lunch. Don’t forget the Zapp’s potato chips (a sign the sandwich will be good)!

I LOVE IKEs! I lived in San Francisco when Ikes first started up and I’ve loved the sandwiches from the start. When I moved to Oakland, i was thrilled when Ikes opened up a shop in Oakland. Now I live in the Fresno area and I’m so glad there’s an Ike’s out here too! Ikes is delicious and there are tons of vegan and vegetarian options. Yum! Get you some!
