Stopped in for lunch the other day and my husband and I enjoyed ourselves. It’s a small little restaurant with an old school feel, and the vintage dining counter was pretty cool. The service was great, the waitress and cook were super friendly. The prices were fair, and the food was tasty. If you’re looking for a good hot dog this is the spot.

It reminded me of my childhood outings when eating out was a special time. They have lunch counter style dining and table. The owner and server were genuinely kind and friendly. The hot dogs had a snap to them, and the onion rings were classic homestyle. They serve crushed ice in the drinks. Overall, it was a great experience. I forgot to take pictures.

I was a lifelong fan of Tony’s Hotdogs and would drive to Richmond to get the last remaining “Tony’s”. But since I discovered Hot Diggity, an improvement over the original Tony’s, first known as the Norfolk Dog, Hot Diggity’s is my go-to for hotdogs. The best!

Been going to Tony’s my whole life and then Hot Diggity Dog when they took over. Walked in today to find new owners. Nice people but definitely not the same,especially the chili. It tastes like Hormel out of a can. Sad to see this place go downhill. Gotta find another hot dog place.

Have been going to Hot Diggity since it took over the store from Tonys Hot Dog. It was good. But last week walked in to find new staff had taken over the place. No clue from 3 weeks before. Very nice takeover new staff but the BBQ, coke slaw, even the Diet Pepsi definitely not the same (fries were good). Doubt we will go back. Will probably go back to the hot dog place on Cleveland. I hope the new staff at Hot Diggity can get it back.
