Got a new cook and not very happy. The egg drop soup was so salty yesterday that I could barely eat it. I go here often but not happy with the new chef. Last week the soup was fine but the pork fried rice was dry. Not enough sauce but yesterday was really bad! The rice had huge pieces clumped together then other parts were not cooked and the sauce on my beef fried rice( no pork again!) was almost non existent! I had to put an ungodly amount of soy sauce on it! No egg roll was almost burnt and my hubby’s crab Rangoon was barely warm and the sauce for both barely covered the bottom of the little sauce section. Place fix this! I love this place but if next time isn’t better, I won’t be back!

This was formerly the location of Chinese Chef. Probably made good sense for another place with similar food to have moved into here. Already have an established crowd the come here for this style of food and the place is virtually the same inside. As for the food, I actually haven’t been finding it to be superior to the former place. A bit more authentic, and flavorful. Everything I’ve had had been very good thus far. Their sweet n sour sauce is a bit thicker than most, and I prefer it this way. You are more apt to get a good coating on what you are dipping, and also less likely to drip (possibly on clothes even) on the way to your mouth. Their service has been good to. Friendly and prompt. Although I did like the former restaurant in this location, I like this one more so far. So if you were bummed Chinese Chef left, maybe try this place before you decide if you are truly bummed or not.

Awesome food in heavy portions, and our host was so friendly and welcoming. 100% worth the 3 mi drive away from interstate. If and when we pass through Sioux City again, we will definitely be back! Thanks for the great food (and great leftovers )!

Worst meal ever. Over priced & no flavor. We tried 3 entrees. Tasted like out of a jar. Orange & sour chicken soggy. Tofu & vegetables not stir fried at all, just heated. Crab Rangoon tasteless. 1 star for being open, food rates lower.

Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten, and I’ve been to allot of Chinese restaurants. Crab Rangoon were very good, pot stickers were excellent, Thai Curry was excellent, mongolian beef was the best I’ve ever had!!!!

This is one of the best places in sioux city! Food was hot and tasted great! The owner is an amazing host and very friendly…refilled the drinks throughout the dinner…kind and sweet person to talk to…takes a lot of pride in his business! I highly recommend this great little place
