I ordered 3 beef patties at 2pm they where so hard and there has a nerve to be a sign stating that no refunds of foods or drink. I called them multiple times and no answer. This will be the last time. Cause I always give them a try and they disappoint me everytime.

I ordered Brown Stew Chicken at lunch. It definitely WAS NOT giving brown stew chicken. It tasted like old baked chicken with allspice in it. The rice was okay. Cabbage had no flavor. In fairness, this isn’t the first time I’ve eaten here and usually food is okay. I’m not sure what has happened lately but the quality has been slipping. This is like the 3rd time my food just wasn’t what I was expecting which why I decided to write a review. I hope someone will read this and step it back up.

Truly my best meal of the week. Fresh, hot, spicy, maybe I would have add some more potatoes to the curry chicken otherwise it tasted authentic, full if Jamaican flavors, now 2023 ,this place has not changed. Wow i came on here to express how rude the older lady at the register was to me i had to walk out and i see many other customers on here beat me to the point lol… she should not be in the front dealing with customers honestly.. I’m from out of town NY and went there because I’m staying in the area for three weeks and from i stepped in and ask what’s on the menu she started giving me attitude she refuse to tell me what they had. And it didn’t stop there.. long story short. I told her before walking out i hope she treats everyone the same as she did with me and they do the same and walk the hell out. Until no one coming there to buy their food and the business closes!

The oxtails are delicious but they are expensive. Not to mention the lady at the counter is very mean and rude. She snapped at me one day for asking her a question about how many oxtails Comes in the large plate. Don’t go there unless you have no other option. Very bad experience. I don’t want no one with dark energy preparing my meal. She is always mad And fights the customers.

A stick-and-go (you wont want to stay and enjoy your meal). The woman who takes orders is usually grumpy. Food is “pretty good”, they are SKIMPY on the protein and heavy on sides. The mac n cheese is from a box; not baked. Too expensive for the amount of meat you get. I eat here for convenience more than anything. Sad, because there’s so much potential.

Got the Large order of oxtail meal for $22.78. 5 medium pieces of oxtail, white rice and cabbage with carrots. Nothing I was served was bad…… It just wasn’t good! The oxtail tasted like something that my grandmother would have cooked back in Texas which would have been fine if I was at a soul food restaurant. I was there for that Caribbean taste and they lacked what I wanted.

2017-09-27 called and placed order before arriving, upon arrival I paid and asked to eat the stew chicken (white meat) there at restaurant and I will carryout the stew chicken (dark meat), and they did exactly what I requested. The stew chicken, rice and beans (peas), cabbage, carrots and potatoes tasted good as always.

I suppose today was just not their day! The food was not up to par at all! It seemed like they ran out of seasoning and proper customer service! (The attitude was… let’s just say different) I don’t mind giving them another shot but I hope they don’t let me down the second time around
