This place is super good! We got the app sampler for the appetizers( fried pickle spears,mushrooms, and mozzarella sticks) highly recommend. For our meal we got the wisky burger and slow roasted sirloin! Great place to hang out and will definitely be going back!

One of our favorite local places. Chelsea and Alyssa are so nice too. Good food, drink specials and good people. We were there this week when a group of ladies were there on their way to a movie we heard. They gave Chelsea no notice they were on a time limit and of course wanted individual checks. We along with others in the place watched as these ladies gave her a tough time because she was the only server and they were in a rush. We need to treat our local servers better as they r doing the best they can. We will continue to frequent the restaurant and the friends we have made there. Recommend others to join us too.

I gave this 2 stars only because of our server. He was attentive and kind. The food… terrible. I ordered my stake medium and my husband medium rare. I was served his stake so we just switched. Ok fine… BUT… the potatoes and vegetables were cold. In fact, the couple behind us returned their food several times due to that same issue. We decided to just pay and leave. Not to mention it was dead for a Saturday night. I should have known the moment we walked in something was wrong. I was severely disappointed as this was our anniversary dinner and we canceled our other plans to eat here. I would NOT recommend this restaurant if you want to eat the food.

Ten local ladies made a reservation for 5 pm. The table was ready and the bartender was nice. There were about eight other people there at the bar and pool table. The service was very slow. Meals were served about 15 minutes a part. If you even got your meal. There were 3 orders of fish tacos with two orders having no fish in them. When we expressed concern about the delay we were told there was only one cook and bartender on duty. Very poor service and food. The name Hide Away should be Run Away….don’t go there.

Chelsea is absolutely one of the best servers I’ve had and this is my new go-to place in hiawassee! Their food and drinks never disappoint and the atmosphere has a little for everyone! I’d highly recommend the hideaway to anyone visiting Hiawassee!

Great beer, non attentive server, severed cold food that wasn’t made well at all. Almost empty restaurant and still took an hour and a half to get our food. Ordered a burger and fries. The fries came to my table 20 minutes after my burger. Took a few bites but we left our plates mostly full. Don’t know what’s going on in that kitchen but it’s not good.

Food and atmosphere has definitely changed. Terrible now. I understand that the service industry is struggling but there is no excuse for bad food. Asked for 12 wings they could only do 5 or 10. They were 1.00 wings could you not do the math. Ordered a tanguary martini. Got it with olive juice. Google it you will learn how to make it. Way too much went wrong to mention. Very sad as previous visits were exceptional.

The menu limited. Not really a dinner spot. We ordered 10 chicken wings, and side onion rings. Chicken wings tough, dry, and hard.on outside. One of my husbands undercookoed. He told the server(did not eat it). Server appologized. $16 for wings. 6 onion rings ($4) mostly batter (advertised as hand battered, questionable since they were evenly battered. Not mich onion either. Wouldn’t complain about the price if it was good food. We went at about 6pm. Atmosphere was nice, clean. More entertainment place. Pool tables, dart boards, some nights karaoke advertised amd live music. Big bar. However we don’t drink, and went for dinner. Thumbs down there.
