Located less than a mile from downtown Campbell, Grill Em Steakhouse is more than your typical neighborhood restaurant; It is a hybrid of a casual steakhouse/sports bar meets BBQ joint. Great overall dinner with a coworker last night. I DO hope they bring back the grilling station that everyone raves about. . Sherry, the bartender/server was attentive without being annoying and had a great knowledge of the food and cocktail menu. She made the perfect recommendations. We both got the Barbecue Combo #2, and the ribs and pulled pork were tender and flavorful. The fries were crispy, and the macaroni and cheese was perfect. They’re also part of the airline miles rewards programs, an added plus. I’ll gladly eat here again when I’m in town for business.

My first time here, but I will return. I ordered a Serra Nevada tap beer for my aperitif, which was nice and icy cold. I chose the salad as my side item for my meal, which was very good (I love blue cheese dressing). The prime rib was cooked to perfection, which was 16 ounces!. The meal was very juicy and served with a side of a type of olive oil with steak sauce mixed in. Next time, I will need to ask them what it was, but it was delicious. I was only able to finish eating half my meal so the rest I took home as leftovers. (Please see my pictures.)

The place is nice & the atmosphere is great. The sides are definitely great but the main dishes to the meal is mid. The steak sandwich is good but as far as the burgers & the steaks they were over charred and tasted bland. With a good steak you dont need sauce but I definitely drenched it this time around. Also I ordered a lemon drop shot and got a lime drop martini? The waiters are really nice and stopped by often I probably would only come in for the cocktails & sides tho.

My husband and I stopped here after hiking up in the mountains because we wanted comfort-type food. I was a little apprehensive at first because this definitely is more of a local hangout than an “out-of-towner”/touristy type place. I was pleasantly surprised and everyone was super nice and welcoming. We got to pick our spot to sit in a big comfy booth. Our server was attentive and quick. A really easy-going place to stop. Plus the food was great! I ordered a New York steak and my husband ordered the #2 BBQ platter. Steak was seasoned well and cooked nicely and the ribs had a tasty smokey flavor. My cocktail was also pretty good as well and was a good size for the $12 price tag. So happy we stopped here and will definitely be back when we come thru again.

Expensive. Sat at the bar. My buddy and I had bacon cheeseburgers $17 each, cup of chili $7 each 3 beers and 2 shots of Jack apiece. $128 before tip. The bartender was very nice (and really good looking) and food was very good. I don’t believe they are doing the BBQ your own any more. At least I didn’t see anyone doing that.
