This place is Heaven on Earth! From the second you walk in the door you are greeted with the delicious aroma of fresh baked bread and goodies. We are so thrilled to have found this treasure. We got a decent sampling of their menu and honestly can’t choose our favorite. The scuffins are moist and rich w/a perfect crisp of sugar glaze on top. The brownies were decadent and the bread was so hearty and flavorful unlike bland store loaves. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable about her passion of baking. We be back soon for more treats, thank you for baking with love!

We moved from Colorado where we first experienced Great Harvest Bread Cafe. We are so excited to live in an area that has another one! We stopped in and ordered the pimento cheese sandwich and the ham & cheese. The sandwiches were great! My only complaint is the price. With chips, both sandwiches together were $30. Just a little expensive for a quick drop-in lunch. Otherwise, everything was just as good as we remembered.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Great Harvest Bread Company. The owner was kind enough to make us four sandwiches just before closing. We got 3 of the classic sandwiches and 1 signature sandwich. We tried the curried tuna salad, ham and cheese, turkey and cheese, and roast beef. Two were on the Dakota bread, one on white, and one on honey wheat. I couldn’t resist adding a half dozen of stuffing rolls to the order. I enjoyed both sandwiches I tried, half of the turkey and half of the tuna. Both of these were on the Dakota bread, which I’m a big fan of. We used to buy it at the city market along with a loaf of their cinnamon chip (highly recommended for french toast).

We stopped by over the weekend to check out Great Harvest’s selection of local honeys. I had seen recently on NextDoor that they carry a few. If I remember correctly, they had wildflower, clover, thistle, and maybe another one or two. The price was comparable to other local honey. My husband ordered a morning glory muffin, which he thought was delicious. In the past at Great Harvest in Herndon and Vienna (Northern VA) we get a loaf of the apple scrapple, but it looks like they don’t have it at this location, which is a little bit of a bummer. But the service was great, and I guess that just means we should try other ones!

Delicious bread and other baked goodies! I visited the cafe for the first time this morning and will be a regularly returning customer. The owner was very kind and enthusiastic. Apparently, they mill their own grain AND bake on site – I don’t think it’s possible to buy fresher bread!

The bake shop is beautiful and smells are divine! In addition to some gorgeous breads, Aileen offers house made granola, and even dog biscuits. The cinnamon roll I enjoyed was perfect. I went in thinking about a sandwich, but as soon as I laid eyes on that cinnamon roll, that was it. Gooey and delicious
