I love Jamaican food, no doubt, and don’t mind driving to find a great Jamaican restaurant. I was hesitant about a chain Jamaican restaurant, but I gave it a go. The oxtail was seasoned very well, and the portions were very nice. I was pleasant, surprised by the food.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE! They are cutting corners and raising prices for no reason. The chicken soup was oily and flavorless, I paid 9.99 for a large and there was literally bones and skin but no quality meat! All the patties and cocoa bread was tough from sitting all day(probably all night). This place has gone way down hill.. that’s why there was no one in there at lunch time (what used to be it’s busiest hours). Never again.

This place is an authentic and true Jamaican restaurant. The oxtails here are the best tasting with true rich flavored broth. I love the food and the service here is exceptional. The beef patties are to die for, almost makes you think your back on the island having dinner. The restaurant is very clean and the food again is amazing along with the service and great prices makes this a recommended place to have lunch or dinner.

Curry goat was salty as heck, brown stew chicken was bland the rice and peas was also salty,the cabbage was okay. They didn’t have any plantains. Over priced and bad quality will not return. Didn’t want to but gave the homeless guy the food. Oh yeah even homeless man didn’t even want the food . I ordered a large oxtail plate with just rice gravy and oxtail suppose. This server doesn’t know what large is for the money your paying. I’m not a racist my son is half white but this girl doesn’t know what large plate is. I was not satisfied and felt like I paid too much money for what she gave me. I’m taking my business somewhere. My coworker picked up food for me today after smelling someone else’s lunch in the office. I ordered 2x mild beef patties, the curry chicken lunch special and a side of plantains. The lunch special came with rice, veggies and 1 plantain. However I love plantains and snack on them during the day.

Food too sweet I got oxtails they were like eating desert and the size of a quarter with the thickness thin as a cracker. And guess what the cabbage has peas carrots and corn!! I truly was not expecting that.
