We tried Ginza for the first time tonight and were so impressed with the sushi. We only ordered sushi and it blew us away. The quality of the fish exceeded our expectations and was very fresh. We were surprised with the prices, but it’s well worth it and we will absolutely be back! Very cool that it’s veteran owned, too. I had the opportunity to speak with the owner and let him know how great the food was, as well as the sushi chef. Can’t wait to eat there again!

The chicken and the beef on both the teriyaki box lunch plates were too tough to eat. Couldn’t cut the chicken with a fork. Vegetables we’re good. Rice isn’t what I’m used to. The volcano roll was fantastic. Getting the four stars because, service was wonderful and

So we opted to go here based on reviews as we searched for sushi. Greeted very nicely and seated right away. Took a bit to get our drink order although server said they were short staffed for the night. Requested patience. That’s fine..We ordered edanami, 3 rolls and a steak n shrimp entree. I stressed my steak to be medium rare 3 times,. Ugh came out and it was crunchy on the ends. Way overcooked .. So disappointing. I didn’t say anything because by the time the entree came out I was full with the sushi rolls. Rainbow roll, volcano roll , (forgot the 3rd) best one is volcano. The server was really nice. He was young and didn’t check on us , good thing the water pitcher was on the table across from us so I did my own water refills. The rolls are pricey but they are huge. My shrimp was not included in my entree so I reminded the server who said he forgot. A few minutes later he came out with 5 boiled shrimp on a plate. Wait what? I ordered teriyaki steak n shrimp. The steak was tough the shrimp was rubbery and no taste. The house salad was fresh, the veggies on the entree were good, fresh, crunchy but needed seasoning, (no seasoning) it was expensive n so bland with overcooked shrimp n steak. I wanted to like this place cuz they are so nice but, beyond disappointed for sure. Veteran owned and operated. Love the decor throughout.

I do not have enough positive things to say about this place. The owner is amazing and it’s obvious he cares very much about the quality and service his customers receive. The staff is young but eager and really put the effort in to be better than average. The sushi is amazingly fresh and many of their specialty rolls are as unique as they are delicious. I have to admit when I went there the first time I didn’t have high expectations for the sushi but I was absolutely blown away. This is family owned, family run place from the owner and his children all working together. This is my new go to place and we’ll be going there for the foreseeable future. Not to mention the incredible amount of good the owner does through his non profit HALO for Freedom Warrior Foundation. If you haven’t been you need to go and get one of their massive sushi spreads and get yourself a raffle ticket and support a great cause. Semper Fi sir and great job. See you again soon.

It saddens me to see such great reviews on a restaurant but yet didn’t receive the rating while dining in. It was the wait time for the drink orders to be taken to say the lease on why things didn’t take off to a great start. We not only waited for our drink order to be taken and our drinks to arrive, we also waited on the other half of our dinner to arrive at our table to be able to enjoy the food while warm. Which we didn’t get to do so. we did patiently wait before getting up from our seats to ask for the rest our dinner. By the time it had arrived our meats were cold to the bite.

We met the sushi chef and talked for several minutes. A transplant from another country, another state and a hero in my book. The sushi was the best I’d ever had and the kind service was genuine and welcoming. I’ll be sending all my friends there. This is a veteran owned business, so please visit this establishment and welcome them as they deserve.

Had lunch with family here today, and it was a truly disappointing experience. Our server was friendly and accommodating, but the food was deeply mediocre, and the prices sky high. We started with some pan seared shrimp Gyoza that was utterly tasteless. My son ordered ramen, and while the flavor of the broth was not bad, the noodles were stuck together in clumps. My sister-in-law, and I ordered some of the less expensive sushi rolls, and out of the four types that we ordered, only the sweet potato tempura roll was palatable. As we left, the owner did not even look up to thank us, or ask how our food was. We left feeling cheated.
