Fultondale Bakery is my favorite in the Birmingham area! Their donuts are amazing! Super soft, delicious glaze, great frosted/assorted flavors. Baked fresh every morning – when you go early, they are still warm. They aren’t open very long because they sell everything quick! Be prepared with cash or check – they have no need to conform with credit cards – everyone happily complies (probably makes the donuts taste better).

They have always had excellent donuts and pastries. Their birthday cakes are pretty phenomenal too. I don’t live nearby anymore so every time I’m in town I will stop and get at least a half a dozen of their glazed cake donuts. They are the best I’ve ever had. Just remember to get there early because they run out of donuts around 10:00am or earlier most days.

Arrived early for my 1st visit and tried the cinnamon rolls. I have heard that they tend to sell out early and I can see why,they were hot,fresh and delicious! Looking forward to trying the rest of the bakery menu items soon!

My wife saw this bakery as we returned to our hotel. The next day we stopped and picked up some pillows apple fritters and doughnuts. Don’t hesitate to stop. You won’t regret it.
