We were walk-ins late on a holiday weekend. We sat at their bar while we waited for a table. Several good local beers on tap, including Young Veterans, Smartmouth, Reaver beach, and O’Connor. The bartender was pleasant and helpful.

Good first time experience. The food was good. Loved the bacon wrapped shrimp. Very attentive staff. The restaurant has a beautiful decor and it’s very clean. I recommend this place.

Had a great time at lunch today. Service was prompt, the food was fresh and delicious. The size of the salad was perfect for my appetite. Pizza was all the right textures in all the right places. Clean tables and Bree made us feel like old friends. Can’t wait to go back so I can take advantage of their special bonus items from FB messenger!

I got the ribs (pictured) and my wife got the ribeye. The ribs were fantastic! Love the honey BBQ sauce. My wife’s steak was nothing special but was good. The fries were weirdly kind of burnt but kind of under done (they tasted fine though. It’s a product of being roasted rather than fried). Owner is a navy veteran and has lived in VA Beach since around 1998 (according to the bio on the table).

For starters, the spinach and artichoke dip is outstanding. Huge chunks of artichoke and the “pita points” are just the right balance of soft and sturdy (for dipping.)

I should really save 5 star reviews for only exceptional places like Firebrew – would give em 6 stars if a could! You can really tell they put an emphasis on unbeatable quality and service, literally the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. All the food was great as well – wife loved her BBQ bacon-wrapped shrimp, wings were fantastic, burger was great and cooked perfectly, meat-lovers flatbread was amazing. Excellent drink and dessert options – mimosa flight was fun! One of our new favorites, couldn’t recommend it more!

Love this locally owned Americana food. My daughter’s favorite is the Piggy Pizza! Always great service and food. Outside pet friendly patio with fans and wind/rain guards when needed. 🙂

This was our first time at Firebrew and I am thrilled to say it won’t be our last! The staff was warm and welcoming and especially our waiter, Sean, who took great care of us. The atmosphere was light and casual. And the food was phenomenal! The thai chili salmon and the flat iron steak were excellent! We can’t forget the tuxedo chocolate cake…Absoluty delicious! Thank you for an awesome evening Firebrew Bar and Grill! Until next time…!

Visiting VA beach for the first time. Stopped in for a light lunch. Food was really good but expensive. Appetizer of 5 pierogis was $9.50. Nice selection of local draft beers. Very attentive staff.

Saw the reviews and knew I had to try it. Tried the trio appetizer dip. The crab dip was too salty unfortunately but the artichoke dip was good and the Buffalo dip was our favorite! Ordered the crab cakes- they were pretty good. Mostly crab meat with some diced peppers. I wasn’t crazy about the Dijon mustard sauce they garnish it with (it can clear your sinuses). The potatoes au gratin were just okay (they were a little burnt and lacking in flavor). The risotto had little flavor as well (needed a hint of garlic). My husband ordered a cheeseburger and he enjoyed it. We also tried the chocolate peanut butter dessert and that was a hit! Our waitress Emily was friendly and excellent. We will give them another try next year.
