Overall a very good dining experience and would not hesitate to recommend, however wouldn’t be on the top of my list for tasting menus. Just wasn’t very balanced overall. Would have preferred one more warm course. The sea bass was just not my thing. The wasabi was overwhelming and the kohlrabi too thick. Just didn’t work together for me. The short rib was excellent, as was the trout. Fantastic dessert as well. Service was fantastic and a very nice atmosphere.

We live right around the corner yet slept on this place for far too long. It’s easily our new favorite in Chicago. For what you pay here you could find yourself at a hundred different places in the city yet none would even come close to the attention to detail & composition that goes into the food at Elske. Make a res, it’s worth the wait.

Elske was, as always, an amazing experience. We sat outside on the very hygge patio. The food was so fresh and delectable, the service impeccable. We will most certainly be returning.
