I’m all about chorizo so that’s what I look for on the menu. We started with the Choriqueso. A good portion with lots of chorizo. As good as any I’ve had. Michele got the Carne Asada. For her it was just ok. She found the meat to be too fatty and gristly for her taste. I had the Chori Pollo. Again, just as good as I’ve had elsewhere so I enjoyed it. Good sized portions for great prices and friendly service. We’d return if we’re in the area.

I have been here numerous times and can say the food never disappoints. This weekend I had the beef and Mexican sausage and they were really good. I have also had the burrito Mexicano and the burrito Texano and they were good too. Service is always fast and the queso is good but you have to order it. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fast authentic Mexican food.

Saw great reviews and decided to try lunch here. Atmosphere was decent, restaurant was fairly clean, prices are cheap and the food was mediocre. Ordered the quesadilla fajita and a small guacamole. The quesadilla came as two tacos which was odd. It was greasy and didn’t taste fresh. The guac was super thick and had a weird aftertaste. It was overall disappointing. Service could have been better. Our waiter didn’t smile at all, he didn’t give refills and was not very friendly.

Colourful, family friendly, efficient restaurant with unexpectedly pretty tables and chairs, hand-painted in the Mexican folk art style. We had chalupas, enchiladas, and my favourite, huevos rancheros, all delivered on thick porcelain plates in the classic style. We did not expect such a pretty and functional restaurant so near the highway. Strong recommend for travellers!
