Ordered the Western omelette and biscuit; French toast, eggs, grits, and sausage patties. The food was made to order. It was delicious. The omelette was packed with ham, sausage, veggies, and cheese. Light and fluffy. The biscuit was grilled , different, but delicious still. French toast had a hint of nutmeg and evenly cooked. Not eggy or mushy. Sprinkled with confectioners sugar. Nicely browned. Perfect texture. The grits were just right FOR US- not too thick or thin. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The owner/waiter/cook was attentive and nice. Definitely will come back!

My 1st time but definitely not my last! This is a family owned restaurant with good customer service. Whatever you do, get the SWEET POTATO PANCAKES!! They were GRRRREAT; much better than the regular pancakes!! I had the pancake platter w/ 2 eggs scrambled w/chz, bacon & grits! The pricing was absolutely worth it! The only thing they didn’t have was an Arnold Palmer… BUT… “Unc” went into the Welch’s juice stash & personally got an Orange- Pineapple juice just for me!

From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcomed. The cook welcomed me which was such a pleasant surprise. I believe this is a Black Owned Business which makes me even more proud to write this review. The food was exceptional and seasoned very well! My Sweet Potato Pancakes were EVERYTHING!! And it was so much food, I now have leftovers.

This is a black owned family business that I found by mistake honestly. I asked for suggestions and the cook said sweet potato pancakes. Now I’ve never had that before but, I was intrigued. For one all came out quickly and was made to order. Those pancakes are the truth. I tried to get the recipe lol. The eggs, Turkey bacon and hash browns ( not pictured) also tasty and scrumptious. Glad I went to the gym prior to my arrival because let me tell you this ain’t calorie counting food lol.

Greeted warmly as we walked in the door. The dinning room is simply decorated and very clean. There is plenty of variety on the breakfast menu. We tried the sweet potato pancakes and found them pleasantly delicious, tender and fluffy with just the right amount of seasoning. The grits are always delicious and not runny or gummy. The eggs are cooked perfectly to our preference. The restrooms are clean and orderly. Great place for a delicious breakfast. We will be returning again and again.

The best sweet potato pancakes I’ve ever had!! The pancakes {3} are big and I couldn’t finish the rest of my meal . A nice, clean, intimate place to dine with a friendly staff. Feels like a family get together when we dine here

Me and my wife went there for breakfast. I ordered an omelette with no tomato and they still gave me tomato. My wife asked for a side of biscuits and gravy and gave us a whole plate of biscuits and gravy. The food was okay. I’m pretty sure my omelette was also supposed to have bacon in it since it was the meat lovers omelette but I didn’t see any. I tried to get a Belgian waffle but they said they only had pancakes. I thought pancakes and waffles were used at the same stuff but waffles were put in a press.

Our visit was on a rainy, cold Sunday morning. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant by the chef and server. I ordered the pancake combo with, two eggs over hard, grits and turkey sausage. My friend ordered the French toast combo with scrambled eggs, grits and sausage. Large portion size and very tasty food that reminds me of home cooking. This is a small establishment with friendly staff and wholesome, good food.

Best authentic southern breakfast. This place has the vibe of a diner but the food is cooked with love. All the southern favorites are here. The buffet is a wonderful deal. For 9.99 you get fresh eggs made to order, potatoes, grits, French toast, bacon, sausage, beef sausage, fried apples, biscuits and gravy, and all star hash. I opted for the steak and eggs. The ribeye was tiny and impossible to cook med rare but everything else was fantastic especially the biscuits. The service was top notch as well. My server was professional and polite and showed southern hospitality. The owner adds to the experience. He’s the older African American man standing near the door welcoming everyone as they walk in the door with a heart greeting and a smile and going out of his way to ensure customers are taken care of. I plan to patronize his establishment as often as I can!
