Food is delicious! Only Chinese place I’ve found where you can get a meal combo with your main and low-mein instead of rice. I ordered online. Food was ready fast, was super hot when I picked it up, and stayed hot on the way home. There’s enough food for 2-3 meals in one combo. Pork egg rolls are great! Wish I lived closer and could come back more often.

Lovely little Chinese takeout spot. Friendly staff, fast service good food. I really enjoy the egg drop soup and the shrimp with garlic sauce for dinner. Convenient to when I am doing laundry nearby at So Fresh N So Clean.

I haven’t been to Chef King in probably over 10 years. The Chinese places in Henrietta kind of seem to be getting slowly worse, but I was decently impressed with my order. The pork fried rice had plenty of pork in it(China Garden is getting pretty skimpy with it) and the lo mein was also pretty good. The egg rolls were a bit greasy and it looks like they were using old oil, but it wasn’t half bad. The hunan chicken had a nice kick to it.

I have been a customer since early 2000. They have had some changes in owners over the years and at times that was reflected in the quality of the food. Over the years mostly it has been decent food, with good service – though we usually pick it up. But in the last couple of years the amount of times that our orders have been messed up have increased – even with asking them to read it back to me. After last night though I am done. They not only messed up my order – but when asked to correct it, they told my husband they confirmed the order with me twice. He informed them he was right there and that was not what I ordered. Then they gave him the wrong thing again and overcharged him. Sad that faithful customers are not more valued in this establishment.

My go-to place for delicious Chinese food! So many of my favorite dine-in places have changed management over the past 10 years, and not for the better. But for take-out, they are still the best. This tiny, family-owned and operated storefront puts all they have into every bite. When I’m sick, I always get quarts of their Won-Ton soup, loaded with big won tons and spiced pork in a rich, delicious chicken broth (not just a few little won tons swimming in loads of weak or soy sauce-tasting broth). I’ve had so many of their entrees and appetizers, and they are consistently good. They are very friendly people and do all they can to accommodate. Highest recommendation.

Have ordered several times now and it is by far one of the best Chinese food places in the Henrietta area. I had only ever liked Shanghai in this area before, and now i have a new go-to! The food is wonderfully fresh (NOT common with Chinese food restaurants around here, haha) and tastes great. The sauces are flavorful, and the dishes taste just like you’d want them too, not like most places around here that’s dishes carry the flavor of day old frying oil. I especially enjoyed the deep fried scallops! Perfectly crispy and delivered to me hot and fresh. I have also tried the Lo Mein–pork and shrimp, and it was very good, and good amounts of food for what you pay. I also have tried the spring rolls (very good), sesame chicken (great! Wonderful flavor and freshness), and veggie fried rice. I have to say, i usually end up giving away any broccoli in my dishes because it is one thing that i truly can’t stand soggy or overcooked. My sesame chicken was served on a bed of broccoli that was cooked perfectly, not soggy or brown, and the veggie rice actually has good size chunks of broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, onions, etc in it.

My husband & I rarely deviate from our usual Asian restaurant, but after trying this for the 1st time today, we may be switching it up. Everything was great, from the crab rangoon, Singapore noodles, Sweet & Sour chicken, & chicken wings that we had, were all phenomenal. The lady running the place was also very kind and polite (and quick). We will definitely be back!

Been going here for 20 plus years. Love their house special Lo mein and give me no issye asking for no shrimp. Great beef on a stick and wonton soup is always on point.

We are customers of Chef King since ~1995 and in all that time we had only 2 problems with them and those were caused by us making the mistake and ordering our food during their busiest time. I normally go there and pick it up myself, it is always made fresh and it was never disappointing. Yes its not 100% authentic, but who the hell cares? It is not a sit down full service restaurant with candle light and music lol, and frankly, I have often had a lot worse food when I was in Taiwan for business.

Ordered a lunch special on menu. Barely any beef, more onion and vegetables than there was any meat. Rice was completely soggy and gross. Seemed like they just reheated some food to try to get rid of it, instead of cooking fresh food.
