Heard good things about this place, drove from Madison to give it a try. Was disappointed we couldn’t dine it. But that is what it is these days. Let me say once we drove back to Madison and did eat it was good but I bet it would have been much better to eat there. No complaints about quality of food. But .. Had a couple questions about the menu, the girl working the counter seemed very annoyed, and rushing us. After every item we ordered she rudely asked “anything else” there were 3 of us standing there and I ordered a small fry. Of course there is going to be more. Based on the food I would return. In regards to customer service. I get people have bad days and I have no idea what’s going on in her world. But If I see this person behind the counter I will turn around and leave.

We drove 45 mins. The girl that rang is out was very rude. The dining room was closed. It’s very overpriced for the amount of food we got. The fries were not all the way cooked. I bit into a raw piece of chicken on my sandwich too. In order to pay with a card, a tip is required. I wish I didn’t have to leave the .20¢ tip. Will not be returning.

Always see this place and finally decided to try it today. Got the “Wizard” and a order of Cajun fries. Sandwich is really really good, fries were crispy and fresh. The only reason this isn’t a 5 star review is cause I really hate mushrooms and asked for no mushrooms and they must of forgot cause there’s deff mushrooms in it. Other than that I will deff be coming back!

Order 51.00 of food the wizard with provolone and cheese whiz extra onion call the store some rude girl who took the order when trying to explain that maybe they put the wrong sandwiches in the bad kept saying I’m not going to argue with you over and over said she would put Mike the owner on who basically tried to tell me the same. sham is the first sub I had their was awesome and that’s why I went back. That guy behind the counter was run and friendly. What this owner isn’t getting it customer perception so I took a pic of the sandwich there is no cheese whiz and no extra onion on it. When you pay that much for food you expect to get what you ordered. I will go back to Penn station going forward

Cheesteak Whizard is a great place to get an awesome cheese steak. Food aside the staff is very friendly and on one occasion I forgot my wallet and only had 20 dollars on me and what I wanted to order was 25. Instead of letting me change my order they said it was no big deal and got my food to me anyway. It was a very nice gesture and I greatly appreciated it, will definitely be going back.

SO DELICIOUS! THE REVIEWS DONT LIE! i was really craving chili cheese fries and i couldn’t find anywhere that made them. well until now! i just moved back over here after moving away for 2 years and i’m so so happy i’m back solely because of this place! these are amazing chili cheese fries that truly meet the term “loaded” and the cheesesteak is seriously the best i’ve ever had. i’m not kidding. i got half steak half chicken on it and it is so filling and loaded with veggies and meat! everything is very well priced for the quality! this ain’t no mr. hero or charley’s, expect higher quality food because that’s what the whiz is ALL ABOUT! 10/10 would recommend! oh yeah and i did take out and everything was super fresh and hot! even when i got home! thank you whiz!!

You can’t go wrong. I’m sure the other sandwiches are good too, I just never order them because the Whizard is THAT GOOD! It’s fresh and you get plenty – especially if you go the jumbo route. Sure you could go to one of the chain places, and they’re fine. Or you could go here and support the local guys who have their picture on the poster hanging on the wall and also watch them make your food.
