Looks like they redid the place. Good atmosphere, I like the sun room but when the manager/owner stepped outside to have a smoke then I didn’t enjoy all of his second hand smoke coming in through the open windows. Maybe he should smoke by the garbage can in the back or so. No children’s menu so it’s def not intended for families with kids. It’s okay we won’t be back!Family enjoyed the fresh bread, Ribs were dry, chicken was good. I happened to noticed that the manager or whoever he is that was smoking outside did go around couple tables making sure they were okay, but didn’t stop by my table. Either do it to all or don’t do it at all.

The restaurant has been remodeled and NO more outdoor patio. Great idea so more tables and less waiting. The drive through has also been redesigned and works out perfect. Amazing ribs and pulled pork. The chopped liver pãtē is so delicious. They no longer give you rye bread with it. So had to buy it at $3 for 4 small slices.

Just stopped in when we arrived in town. Food was great the barbecue chicken was so tender melted in mouth. The brisket sandwich was delicious with the warm barbecue sauce on the side. I recommend you stop in and dine! Our waiter Joe gave excellent service. We will return.

My mom was visiting from Texas so we stopped at Carson’s after our event and we very hungry – we arrived at Carson’s around 3 pm and were one of the first guests. We were seated in Evelyn’s section right by the fireplace which was nice on a cold winter day. Evelyn’s demeanor was so wonderful, she took pics of our group (just 3 of us), was patient when we were looking over the menu and offered suggestions. She helped with putting on our bibs and made our late lunch more enjoyable. The food was outstanding and my mom cleaned her entire plate she had ribs, au gratin potatoes and cole slaw! Ribs aren’t really my thing so I went with the cheeseburger which was cooked to perfection. I also ordered an old fashioned – that always hits the spot. The food here is outstanding and service unmatched! Evelyn, thanks to you for your wonderful hospitality!

I am from out of town and Carson’s was recommended to me by a local business partner. In short – David is the best and I am so glad I came. The food and drink were so so good but also generously poured and portioned. I visited on a Wednesday night right at dinner time and was seated at the smaller bar with David. It was very busy but something tells me this place always runs busy, for good reason. It was obvious regular customers were celebrating and filling the bar- i was made to feel like a frequent customer. David was very attentive and personable and while he was obviously busy- he felt very present in every interaction which is truly rare. Management also created me and checked on me once my meal was delivered which is always nice and felt very genuine. I understood very quickly why Carson’s is the kind of place you recommend – the food is great the service is superb!
