Great barbecue! Brisket was tender, a little on the dry side with a heavy bark, and super delicious. The wings were big and juicy. Barbecue sauce had great flavor and accompanied everything well. They need wetnaps though. It’s kind of hard to clean sticky barbecue sauce off with dry paper towels. Staff was very friendly!

We came here with our friends on 3/18/23. The sides were delicious, my personal favorite is the mac and cheese because it has a kick but not too spicy. We all ordered Ribs, and pulled pork (they were out of the brisket). The food was super tasty.

Starting with the good, the food is above-average. All the other aspects leave something to be desired. Now the negatives — persistently slow service due to understaffing; they charge a 3% fee for using a credit card (violation of credit card terms, I think); and to top it off — they’ve my order wrong the last two times, shorting me $15 of items each time. So, in summary, consider going there for the food, but avoid this place if you value customer service.

The food was very bad. Warmed up BBQ is not a good taste. Not low and slow, you can tell this is high heat pump it out BBQ. They need some work on their meat smoking skills. The building was also very hot with no AC. The people working were friendly but that was the only good thing.

Nice staff. Over priced for the amount of food. I had a soggy pulled pork sandwich and paid more for a ridiculously small side of coleslaw. The other person with our group had a 2 meat entree that would hardly feed a toddler.

Sadly, I stood in line for 13 and 1/2 minutes and absolutely no one was served. Several employees wandering around behind the counter, zero communication to any of the customers in line, and no indication if they were even still serving food. I feel like I should definitely do a review since I dedicated 13 and 1/2 minutes of my day to trying to eat it this restaurant. While I was standing in this line, I noticed several other customers walking up to the counter on the opposite side showing a receipt and complaining that they did not get what they paid for.

The ribs and brisket are why you come. Service was a problem due to lack of people and the woman at the front seemed completely uninterested in working. There were only two people working, and they didn’t seem to have an effective system for putting together the dishes. We waited over 40 minutes for our order, but then they got our order mixed up with someone else. The main guy (owner?) was apologetic, and offered us free food, which was nice, but it would have been better to have gotting it right the first time. That said, the ribs and brisket were amazing. Chicken was a bit dry. Also, pretty good selection of beers, but why serve beers and drinks from California, Oregon, and Maine when you are a Texas Bbq. I say go all in on Texas. I get craft beers anywhere in California. I want to try something different. In any case I will be back for that delicious slow cooked brisket. And that excellent Texas Bbq sauce. Both sweet and spicy versions. Just tighten up the ship on your food prep.

I just traveled in from Texas & had hopes that this would be good because of the ratings. But NOPE it was disappointing! We spent $50 on a 3 meat 2 side plate with a pulled pork sandwich. The brisket was seasoned but dry, the chicken was smoked but no seasoning, the mac & cheese is dry, the BlackBerry mojito didn’t taste like mojito, & you have to purchase cornbread separately! I would’ve given it a lower score, but the people were really nice. Be prepared to wait because speed isn’t a priority.

Brisket was exactly what I hoped for. Ribs were tender and I sucked them off the bone. Cornbread was great. Gotta go back and try more of their options or just grab the meat. That’s what is important to me when I get BBQ. Prices were very fair. I’ll be back.

This place was great under Dave, came back to try the new ownership, and if I was them I shut down or take time to invest in personnel before starting up. Walked in, lady at the register didn’t even acknowledge me or ask if I can be helped (no one in line)
