This place is amazing, I just came in from out of state and found this amazing little place. The BBQ here was so good I left with a happy stomach. If you are looking for some good back home BBQ come by this place. Also the staff was amazing, thanks for the great experience.

We stopped here on a whim, and it was just not good. The food was bland, or overly salty. The meat was a mystery on the chicken fried steak. One kind of BBQ, and it tasted like it had been reheated. The service was great, our waitress was super kind, although they do clean the tables with bleach. Check out was easy and smooth, they do take card and cash!

Been here many times. Had turkey & dressing special. Dressing tasted off. A pickled/sour taste. I’ve had stuffing many, many times in my life. This stuffing was clearly off. I mentioned to waitress and asked her to taste in the kitchen. She didn’t get back with me. I waited an appropriate amount of time before leaving. I mentioned the dressing at the register. The woman (Owner? Manager?) quickly said no one had said anything about the dressing. That was it. She offered nothing else. (By the way, I’ve never seen this woman smile.) Obviously, this was not handled properly. I guess they have enough customers and aren’t concerned about losing any.

I don’t know if this BBQ place is only good for its breakfast items (based upon reading everyone’s review) but for lunch and dinner, the food isn’t good. Most of the food items here are very plain, unseasoned, and sometimes watery. I feel this place has a food palette meant for older customers.

“BBQ” is a loose term here. They said it is cooked in a pressure cooker. No flavor. Adding condiments should not be required for real BBQ. Slaw was underwhelming. Service was great. Fries served on top of the “BBQ”, making them instantly soggy. If you can smoke meat and are ready to open a restaurant, you could easily steal all the regulars.

This is a barbecue place but I was very surprised that they had breakfast at 9:00 a.m. breakfast was very good The bacon was very lean more meat than fat. Portions were decent size also. Has a very laid back country type of atmosphere like a mom and pop style restaurant. People were very friendly and very attentive.
