Was very unimpressed. Just wasn’t very good in several ways. Wasn’t aloud to sit in booth. It was empty. Menu lacked variety. Took an hour and 15 minutes to get food from time we sat down. $10 appetizer had more food than the $26 entree. Flavor was severely lacking. I’d pass on this place.

Best red sauce. Recommend the eggplant appetizer. The lasagna is excellent as well, but they usually run out halfway through the night, so get there early! All the pasta is made fresh. Consistently good.

Visited this restaurant on Tuesday night to grab some Italian food, but they were short short on wait staff and could not seat us except for the bar area. We decided to get it to go. The staff was very apologetic and kind. Food came out hot, and the salad was cold. The food was delicious. Good visit.

We called and they said we didn’t need a reservation, when we arrived they were closed, but let us in to sit at the bar. Angie took great care of us, the bread was hot and crusty, salad fresh and pastas were perfectly cooked and delicious. We will be back.

Have been going to Amicis for two years since moving to the area and it’s dramatically gotten worse and worse. Arrived today at 4 only to learn dining room didn’t open until 5, returned at 457 to an empty restaurant then were told by the rude male host we would have to wait until 5 for a seat. An older couple came in and were immediately taken to a table while we were ignored. Unprofessional and rude. Their reservation system seems change day by day so you never know when they will accept one or not. They used to have online reservations but could not handle that. Get it together. Locals keep this place open. We had a great meal at Bocellis downtown and was blown away by the great food and professional hospitality.

So, this food is exquisite. I had Chicken Amici, which is a marsala based sauce. The aroma kept me wanting more, even when I was full. SO delicious! The bread and butter was also delightful. Maybe a bit too much…I think we had 3 baskets!
