Downtown lunch in Winston-Salem is the best! I had the French Dip Burger. It was cooked PERFECT. The wings…perfect. Great waiters and clean restaurant. Eating in the alley was also perfect. Best lunch I’ve had in a very long time. I will be dining here again.
Was in the area for a business trip and was recommended this spot. Don’t skip on the fried goat cheese salad, literally incredible! Not only that, but take out wine is 1/2 off by the bottle so, run- don’t walk. Customer service was 10/10. Amazing “chill” vibes. The ideal wine spot. Will def. be back.
I used to love this place. This was my first time back after the pandemic. My experience was absolutely terrible. I most likely will not be back.We were sat immediately, but had to wait almost five minutes before we were greeted. Our server shows up with waters for the table which apparently means she saw us but for some reason decided not to greet us.I asked to start with nachos as an appetizer, she advises us that it will be 30 minutes. I told her never mind and ordered the crab artichoke dip instead. We continued to order our entrees. My three children each ordered burgers, I ordered the bourbon salmon and the creamy lemon chicken for my boyfriend.15 minutes later still no crab dip and the server comes to the table to tell us that they are out of burger buns, and that they can put our burgers on croissants. I reluctantly agree and ask her about the crab dip. She says it’s coming. Ten minutes after that I wave her down again and tell her if the crab dip isn’t ready we don’t want it anymore, just bring our entrees. I also request refills since we’ve been sitting there for 25 minutes with empty glasses. She then returns immediately with the crab dip and refills my children’s drinks and doesn’t even attempt to refill mine or my boyfriend’s.The crab dip was extremely shallow and small. About twenty minutes after that they bring my entree and my boyfriends entrees out. It was another 10 minutes until they brought two of the three burgers for my children and I again had to wait another 10 minutes before they brought the third burger out. The salsa tasted like it was bad. It was extremely difficult for my children to eat their burgers on croissants. Our server never checked on us, I always had to wave her down or call her to the table. There was no manager in sight. No one going to tables to make sure things were going smoothly. We paid 125.00 for an experience that wasn’t worth it.
Really cool hip atmosphere. Really good service and delicious food. I loved the wine menu. It was Sunday half price bottle of wine.
It wasn’t spectacular or anything but for the large group that we had they were accommodating and the food was okay. The wait wasn’t that long to be seated either. The food was cooked through and my burger seemed fresh. I would return if I was needed something quick or drinks with friends but definitely not first choice. Oh and for brunch the menu wasn’t what I was expecting at all but the waiters made us comfortable and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Open again for outdoor seating and they have plenty of seating spaces. Device and food were excellent. We had appetizer, main dishes & dessert too.Beer selection is limited, however wine selection has ample variety. But the main courses are the highlight of the evening.
Such good food and our server was amazing and sweet. The strawberry martini that I had was the best!
Super disappointed.. food was expensive and not that great, and the fruit cup they gave us with our brunch was the most embarrassing dish I’ve ever seen. 3 blueberries, about half a strawberry, and 2 honeydew chunks. Are you for real??? I even complained about it and got nothing additional, just a laugh and a shrug.. never returning
Great local restaurant with a nice vibe. Had the tuna wrap and mashed potatoes and they did not disappoint.
Very laid back. Nice vibes. Service was wonderful. Would definitely visit again.
